STRESSBAN

Back To Calming, Seasons & Breeding

STRESSBAN  - The Pegasus Health Registered Name for StressEaze

(StressCare,ASIM,IH-A02)  from Indian Herbs International

This unique pure herbal Ayurvedic formula optimizes calm confidence on a daily basis, without loss of consentration and sparkle.  Contains no Valerian and can be used under current rules.  Because StressBan creates a feeling of well being some, but by no means all, horses show a little extra energy during the first few days of introduction.  This is why we advise owners to find a quiet time in the schedule to introduce it, possibly turning the horse out for a couple of days before riding out again.

The following are extracts from research papers by vet G E Wheeler:  ' They (the authors) report low toxicity in the compounds, and their final conclusion is that the Ayurvedic use of Withania somnifera for immunomodulation and for augmentation of learning and memory is scientifically sound.'   ........ 'Octimum sanctum, another compound of ASIM was shown to normalise the changes seen as a result of restraint stress on dorsal hippocampalneuronal activity and synaptosomal membrane  changes.  These changes were held to be a more sensitive index of stress than adrenocortical activity.' ...... 'ASIM does not contain detectable levels of potentially harmful components such as antibiotics, anabolic steroids etc.'

Key ingredients: Withania somnifera (Ashwaganda), Octimum sanctum (Holy basil), Zingiber officianale (Ginger), Embilca officianalis (Indian gooseberry), Mangifera Indica (Indian mango)

Feeding: 10g per 100kg bodyweight (an average 16.2hh horse is about 500kg) divided between 2 feeds about 12 hours apart.  1kg will last a 500kg horse about 20 days
