SANDAWAY  100% Psyllium Husks  (Plantago psyllium)

The husks have a remarkable quality of optimizing both over loose and over firm bowel movements as they form into a gel absorbing water from the former and when fed damp ease the passage of stubborn matter.In this respect they have an invaluable part to play in clearing sand from the gut by picking it up and gently easing the passage to full elimination  During the onset of Laminitis psyllium husks can be used to clear the  hind gut of overloaded, undigested matter  which gives off the  toxins which are the villains of the peice.

Feeding 20g per 100kg bodyweight (100g for a 500kg, 16.2hh horse) for 5 days, reducing to 5g/100kg for longer term use. Seek vet. advice if problem persists.  Have plenty of water available during use and feed dry for loose bowels and damp/sloppy for over firm and to clear sand/clogged matter,safe under rules.
