ANTIPEST

The Pegasus Health  registered name for PestoBan from Indian Herbs International

A Consentrated Ayurvedic skin wash for parasites, micro-organisms and wound cleaning. Tests show that AntiPest is a very powerful agent against parasites such as lice, mites, mange etc and no toxicity for the treated animal, even though the coat was licked,  was noted in use. For copies of the relevant research papers please contact Pegasus Health on 01279 87 10 33 or  info@pegasushealth.com

Major ingredient: Cedrus deodara. Store in a cool dry dark place with lid on.

Directions:  For topical application diluted with water. Usually safe on sensitive skins and wounds - always test a small area of normal skin first and check after 24 hours.

Can be usefully used in support of BanItch and BanItch Cream especailly when dealing with midge and mud sensitivity problems.  Used while the BanItch 'smell' is developing and periodically throughout the midge and/or mud season it can enhance the efficacy in these areas.  Shake well before use and dilute with clean water, 20 parts by volume of water to 1 part by volume of AntiPest e.g. if you use a whole 250ml bottle of AntiPest you will need 5 LITRES of water to mix it in.

For a repeat treatment the volume can be 30 parts water to 1 part AntiPest  (7.5Lt water to one 250ml bottle) if the infestation was not too severe.

Apply the solution to the coat liberally, using a sponge or similar (wearing rubber gloves) avoiding eyes, nose and mouth, never completely immerse an animal in the solution. Leave on coat for a minimum of 4 hours and preferably leave on overnight or out of direct sunlight up to 48 hours.  (Harmless if licked, see test results)

Rinse off with plenty of warm water  and repeat after 3 or 4 days if necessary.

Use on dogs and other farm animals but take care if treating cats - not suitable for birds.  Do not immerse any animal completely in the solution, always apply as directed above.

If an animal with a heavy parasite infestation is also in generally poor condition, the use of

ImuSarc to optimize the immune system is to be recommended.
