As 'entire' animals, mares often experience the same stresses of hormonal imbalance as their stallion counterparts. Signs may include mood swings, aggression, flirting, 'touchiness' and compromised performance. Maintenance levels should be adjusted to suit the individual mare, and are not necessarily strictly according to bodyweight. Also suitable for geldings showing 'riggy' behaviour.
