Blood transports oxygen and nutrients around the body - the more blood cells, the more oxygen and nutrients are available to the muscles and tissues, enabling the horse to work harder and for longer. Equine America Hemogen Solution contains a specialist and highly absorbable form of Iron, essential in the production of red blood cells, supported by B-vitamins and accompanied by active water soluble vitamins and minerals to maximise energy and stamina.

Feed daily at maintenance level for horses in training or competition, and increase this for five days leading up to a race or event.

Equine America Hemogen Solution can also be used as a short course following on with Equine America ProPell Plus® Solution for maintenance.

When should you feed Equine America Hemogen Solution?

• To horses in high level training and competition.
• To anaemic horses to boost blood levels, following on with Equine America ProPell Plus® Solution for maintenance.

How does it work?

Hemogen Solution contains the highest-quality Iron and B-vitamins to enrich the blood, plus supporting vitamins for maximum absorption and ultilisation. Together these ingredients support red blood cell production. The more red blood cells, the more oxygen can be carried around the body. The more oxygen, the harder the horse can work and for longer, improving stamina and vigour.

Water, Sorbitol, Ferric Citrate Hexahydrate, Glycine, Xanthan Gum, Niacinamide, Pyridoxine HCl, Thiamine HCl, Preserved with Ammonium Propionate, Folic Acid, Sulphur, Riboflavin, d-Pantothenic Acid, Copper Sulphate 50 mg/kg (added), Sodium Selenite, Cobalt Sulphate, d-Alpha Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E) 1 mg/kg, Cyanocobalamin (Source of Vitamin B12).

For an average 500kg horse, feed 30ml daily with the horse’s regular feed or give orally. Preparing for competition: feed 60ml daily for 5 days prior to event. Feed others according to body weight, less for smaller horses and ponies, and more for larger breeds.
