Linseeds, also known as Flaxseeds, come from the Flax plant which is native to the region between the eastern Mediterranean and India. These days Flax plants are cultivated across the world.



Linseeds come in two varieties, brown and golden (sometimes called yellow) which both have similar nutritional virtues.



Linseeds are the richest plant-based source of the Omega-3, Omega-6 and Omega-9 Fatty Acids - and the balance of these fatty acids that Linseeds contain is unique among all equine feed ingredients.
