Feedmark Zerobute is a feed supplement containing a blend of herbs for horses and natural compounds carefully selected for their soothing effects on the musculoskeletal system of horses and ponies.

Feed Feedmark Zerobute to soothe the musculoskeletal system and to maintain mobility. Feedmark Zerobute should not be fed to competing horses, pregnant mares or to those with suspected gastric ulcers due to the digestive stimulating effects of Devil's Claw Root. Feedmark Zerobute does not contain phenylbutazone.

The horse and its musculoskeletal system

The horse could be described as the ultimate athlete. Its musculoskeletal system has evolved to produce powerful and efficient movement at peak speeds of up to 17½ to 18 metres per second and over long distances at 10 to 12 m/sec. It is capable of both high speeds and endurance. In fact, it has been proposed that the horse is already operating at the very limits of its athletic capabilities due to its almost perfect physiological make-up.

Domestication has harnessed this natural athleticism, and our horses and ponies may spend 20 years or more in active work of all types. Just like every other athlete they are prone to post exercise stiffness, injury, and later in life, general aches and pains and loss of flexibility.
 
Feedmark Zerobute contains herbs and natural compounds that provide a safe and effective way to soothe the musculoskeletal system, maintaining mobility. The well-known properties of Devils Claw Root have been complemented with other effective herbs for horses including Meadowsweet and Yucca. Bromelain, a plant extract, and MSM a sulphur-rich natural compound have been added for their proven soothing effects. Due to their complex chemistry, herbs have a gentle effect on the body and do not act like synthetic drugs.

Methylsulphonylmethane (MSM), ground devil's claw root, ground celery seed, yucca, ground meadowsweet, bromelain, ground chamomile flowers, silica.

Feed supplements should be fed according to bodyweight - height has been given as a guide. Introduce gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).

Zerobute is safe to feed on a long term basis. Feedmark Zerobute is not recommended for horses where gastric ulceration is indicated due to the effect of the Devils Claw on the digestive system. However, the soothing effects of Meadowsweet and the warming effects of Celery Seed will have digestive supporting effects.

Zerobute can be fed with Feedmark Extraflex HA and Extra HA with Rosehips.
