**This is a natural product and slight colour variations may occur due to seasonal variations**

Pegasus Apple Cider Vinegar is made via a natural aerobic acetification process using whole English apples. They are neither filtered nor pasteurised, retaining the goodness of the vitamins, enzymes and minerals of the original apple source.

Apple cider vinegar for equine uses:

  • Support joint health
  • Assist digestion
  • Promote vitality
  • Deter insects
  • Add a beautiful shine to the coat
As the name suggests, it is simply vinegar made from cider. Pegasus Health Apple Cider Vinegar is made from whole English apples and is believed to be a powerful aid to good digestion. The active constituents in apple cider vinegar help to break down important nutrients in the diet allowing them to be absorbed more effectively. It can also help supprt cleansing of the digestive tract.

Apple cider vinegar for horses joints is 100% natural and has not been pasteurised or filtered which would destroy and remove the ‘mother’ - a jelly-like substance packed full of health-giving enzymes responsible for much of the power of apple cider vinegar.

Without the ‘mother’ - which should be consumed by animals for best results - the vinegar is only useful as a table condiment or for cooking. This is why much of the apple cider vinegar sold in supermarkets has been treated to remove the ‘mother’.
It is natural and normal for Pegasus Apple Cider Vinegar to be cloudy and to contain sediment. Shake well before each feed so the ‘mother’ breaks up and all the goodness is evenly distributed.

Apple cider vinegar for horses contains:

  • Beta-carotene, pectin - which helps support artery health - and malic, propionic and tartaric acids
  • Copper, fluorine, silicon and sulphur
  • Minerals including: calcium, chlorine, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and sodium
  • Vitamins B1, B2, B6, C and E

Apple cider vinegar uses horses:

  • Support digestive health
  • Provide an appetite stimulant
  • Maintain healthy joints
  • Deter flies - when used as a wash
  • Help support and maintain good circulation
  • Improve coat condition and general vitality
